Other Mentions is more than just the term used to describe one-off responses encountered in open-ended survey questions. It’s also the name of this blog that is a collection of tips, ideas and random musings.
While our content should interest anyone who works in an office environment, this blog will pay particular attention to the idea of working from anywhere (moofing), so we will also offer travel tips and suggestions for making a life-on-the-go easier.
This blog is brought to you by Templar Research Services Inc., a Montreal-based company that provides the marketing and opinion research sector with support services such as:
- focus group analysis and qualitative report writing (executive summaries to full PowerPoint presentations);
- text services and copy editing (reports, articles and web content);
- coding of open-ended questions and data entry (paper-and-pencil surveys);
- and data processing and tabulations (either from our own in-house data entry or from your CATI, ASCII, or SPSS data file).
As we want this blog to be informative and not turn it into an infomercial, the above paragraph is about as much self-promotion as we intend to do. If you want to know more about our company, or learn about our services in depth, please click here.
This blog is written by Josef K. Radomski and updated twice a week, so please check back to learn about some neat online resources and pick up a few tricks.
We are also quite keen on the idea of turning this blog into a dialogue and welcome your comments, which can be made publicly at the end of each post or sent to us privately. We also welcome any like-minded columns and articles, and your hints and suggestions, for which we will credit you and your company as a thank you for sharing your ideas.
